Kristen B. Slaoui, PhD

Dr. Kristen Slaoui is a strategic advisor and board director with 25 years of experience driving growth through business development, M&A, and R&D leadership across the pharmaceutical, consumer, and medical aesthetics industries. She most recently served as Chief Corporate Development Officer at Galderma, the world’s largest independent dermatology company, where she led global corporate and business development for the past five years. Earlier in her career, she spent two decades at GSK, beginning in respiratory drug discovery—where she contributed to the identification of the long-acting muscarinic receptor antagonist found in Anoro™, Incruse™, and Trelegy™—before transitioning into business development. At GSK, she held roles of increasing responsibility, including leading global business development for Stiefel, a GSK company, it’s dermatology division, and ultimately executed more than $40 billion in transactions across pharma, specialty, consumer health, and emerging markets.

Dr. Slaoui currently serves on the Board of Directors of Achieve Life Sciences (NASDAQ: ACHV). She earned her Ph.D. in Physiology from Johns Hopkins University, completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, and holds a dual B.S./B.A. from Gettysburg College. She is an inventor on multiple patents and author of over 40 peer-reviewed publications.
