Biography

Dr. Helen He is the Director of Lasers and Cosmetic Surgery, Co-director of the Mount Sinai-Clinique Healthy Skin Dermatology Center, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. He practices cosmetic and medical dermatology, specializing in lasers and energy-based devices for skin rejuvenation. In addition, she conducts research in skin aging and inflammatory skin diseases, with a special interest in the mechanisms of aging in healthy and inflamed skin across diverse skin types. She has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals and given talks at national and international conferences. Dr. He earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering at MIT and completed both her MD and dermatology training at Mount Sinai, where she was funded by a T32 NIH research training grant.
