Biography

Arun Pores Fernando is a Senior Director at Lilly Ventures, where he oversees scouting and due diligence activities in emerging and innovative fields across therapeutic areas and modalities. He has ~ 10 years of Big Pharma/ Management consultancy experience. Prior to joining Lilly, Arun was part of the Business Development team at Bristol Myers Squibb and his work contributed to nine deals. Arun also spent four years at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), advising clients across pharma, biotech, CROs, and payers on commercial and R&D strategy.

Arun holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, where he studied T cell signaling, and did his postdoctoral training at Dana-Farber/Harvard Medical School on PI3K/AKT pathways. He has authored 10+ publications in leading scientific journals.
